You Can Be Awesome If You Put Your Mind To It.

It has been one kraaaaaazeeee week. I'll get into it later. For now let's just say that the soul punching has ceased enough to the point where I had the time and energy to do this:

You know, sometimes you just feel like that. I felt like that a couple days ago...kinda aimless. But now things are looking up, up, up!

You go girl,

Absolutely, Positively, Beautifully Cool.

What i love most about your work is that its "in the mood of the moment".

I took that description from Swarovski Crystal,
but i think another way of say that is "you create things that are hip, fun and cool".

Simply beautiful. The thing I love about this piece is that it successfully implies a certain story that the viewer is unaware of, in one image. The implication of a story and a character that seems as fresh and lovely as the execution of the painting itself. I sense that it's attempting to reach out beyond the technique it's painted in. A multi dimensional character with actual human attributes and not just a simplified pastiche in cartoon form to suit a one dimensional cartoon plot. There's visual poetry at work here...........super cool!

hey girl. it was awesome seeing you and a few of the other guys at the vegan restaurant a few weeks ago and at graduation. give me a call sometime if you all do something like that again. i need more people to keep me going to those kinds of places. i wish there were more vegan food joints in Valencia...what a crappy place.

anyways, your work is great!!! hope sometime soon you can have a gallery spot so i can see a whole wall of your work. cheers!

Ed~ YES, YES I DO love daisies my abusive friend. My next tattoo is probably going to be a daisy. I just...um...there are no daisies in this image so I'm not sure what prompted your attack. But whatever. Your comments are always treasured on this blog, Ed.

Wow that is beautiful!

Is that you outside of Pixar's gates?

Hobo - Nah. My legs aren't that skinny. And I'm extremely white.
I totally forgot about those roses at Pixar...I just based this fence/rose scenario off a yard in my neighborhood. I forget what those roses are called but they have an awesome name and they smell like dreams.
